What Is Holistic Pet Care Coaching?

As a Certified Animal Naturopath, Leanne LeDuc supports the overall well-being of pets through a natural, holistic approach that considers the physical, mental, emotional, and environmental factors affecting your pet’s health.

Most pet owners already sense when something is off. The food seems fine, but the coat is dull. The dog is walked daily but still restless. Nothing is wrong enough for an emergency, yet nothing is quite right either. Coaching is where you get to sit down with someone who looks at the whole picture and helps you decide what to change first.

Sessions are available in person at the Canine Cottage in Cadott, WI, or online.

What’s Covered

Nutrition

Guidance specific to the needs of your pet, which may include recommendations for raw or fresh foods, supplements, and herbal remedies.

Lifestyle and Environment

Exercise, mental stimulation, living environment, and enrichment.

Natural Remedies

Alternative therapies including chiropractic, massage, aromatherapy, Bach essences, and energy work such as light, PEMF, frequency, and Reiki.

Stress Reduction

Identifying stressors and using techniques that reduce their impact, allowing for better rest, reset, and nervous system regulation.

Preventive Care

Optimizing overall health, heading off illness, and supporting longevity.

Collaborative Care

Working with you and your pet’s professional care team so the plan supports your pet’s needs from every direction.

Education and Support

Teaching and showing how holistic approaches benefit your pet, with ongoing guidance so your animal has the best chance to live a happy, healthy, full life.

Why This Approach Works

Holistic pet care coaching supports your pet’s health and well-being by:

  • Keeping up to date on the science behind the trends and recommendations
  • Identifying each pet’s unique needs, addressing body, mind, and spirit along with anything getting in the way of good health
  • Addressing the root cause of illness and promoting restorative balance
  • Bringing in complementary, alternative, and integrative therapies
  • Providing life-stage guidance for nutrition, activity, environment, and enrichment

There is a lot of noise in the pet wellness world. Part of what you are paying for is someone who reads the research, sorts the useful from the trendy, and tells you plainly what is worth your money and what is not.

Holistic coaching is not veterinary care and does not diagnose or treat disease. Pawsome Canine Massage LLC always recommends keeping an active relationship with your veterinarian. Coaching supports the daily habits that add up to big wins.

OUR PROCESS

What to Expect

A thoughtful, collaborative process designed around your pet’s individual needs.

01

The In-Depth Evaluation

We start with a close look at your pet’s:

🐾Physical, mental, and emotional balance

🐾Current daily routine, including diet, activity, and environment

🐾Stressors and triggers that may be contributing to imbalance

🐾Any specific concerns or goals you have as the pet parent

02

Building the Plan Together

Then, we work directly with you to:

🐾Review what the evaluation turned up and talk through your options

🐾Prepare a care plan that addresses both short-term and long-term goals

🐾Make sure the plan is realistic for you to carry out in terms of cost, time, and consistency

🐾Provide resources that support the recommendations

🐾Schedule follow-ups so the plan can be adjusted as your pet responds

03

Staying With It

The plan is a starting point, not a verdict. Pets change with the seasons, with age, and with life events. Follow-up sessions keep the plan current and give you a place to bring questions as they come up.

A Good Fit If You Are

  • Trying to sort through conflicting advice on raw, fresh, or kibble diets
  • Managing a pet with recurring issues that keep circling back
  • Caring for a senior pet and wanting to protect the years you have left together
  • Bringing home a puppy and wanting to start well
  • Supporting a pet through illness or recovery alongside your vet’s treatment plan
  • Overwhelmed by supplements and unsure what your pet actually needs
  • Simply wanting a clear, expert second set of eyes on your pet’s daily life

Coaching Works Well Alongside Massage and Reiki

Diet, routine, and stress show up in the body. A dog eating poorly, sleeping badly, or living with constant low-grade stress will keep rebuilding the same tension that bodywork just released. Many clients pair coaching with regular canine massage or Reiki so the physical work and the daily habits pull in the same direction.

Certified Canine Massage

Hands-on bodywork with a full structural and gait assessment, for stiffness, soreness, sport recovery, and senior mobility.

Animal Reiki

Gentle energy work that helps your pet release stress and rest more deeply. Available on-site, online, or at a distance.

Holistic Pet Care FAQs

What is a Certified Animal Naturopath?
An Animal Naturopath is trained to support animal health through natural means, looking at nutrition, environment, lifestyle, and stress rather than treating disease. The focus is on root causes and on the daily conditions that let an animal’s body do its own work.
Do I still need my veterinarian?
Yes, always. Coaching sits alongside veterinary care and never replaces it. Leanne will coordinate with your vet and other providers so everyone is working toward the same outcome.
Will you tell me to switch my dog to raw food?
Not automatically. Recommendations are specific to your pet and to what you can sustain. Raw and fresh food are options that come up often, and so do supplements and herbal remedies, but a plan you cannot keep up is not a plan worth writing.
Can we do this online?
Yes. The initial evaluation is best done in person so Leanne can observe your pet directly, but online consultation is available, and follow-ups can be in person or online.
How long before I see a difference?
It varies with the pet and the issue. Some changes, such as better rest or steadier energy, show up within a few weeks. Deeper work on chronic patterns takes longer. Follow-ups are built in so you are not guessing about progress.
Is this only for dogs?
Coaching is available for companion animals generally. Reach out about your specific pet and Leanne will let you know how she can help.
How much does holistic pet care coaching cost?
A 60-minute Initial Evaluation is $75, a 30-minute follow-up is $45, and a 15-minute focused session is $20.
